Covid-19 Symptoms - Year 11 (PCR Confirmed)

Dear Parents and Carers,

We are notifying you with an update about the message yesterday, which informed you that we had been alerted over the last 24 hours to more than one positive lateral flow result within Year 11. These lateral flow positive cases have now all been confirmed with positive PCR results. As such, can we reinforce the message of encouraging all Year 11 students to complete daily lateral flow tests for the next 9 days (having done one yesterday). More tests will be available from the hall on Monday at 2.50pm for anyone who doesn't have enough.

Please do be alert to the symptoms of Covid-19, as shown in the flow diagrams and guidance below:

How to stop COVID-19 spreading

There are things you can do to help reduce the risk of you and anyone you live with getting ill with COVID-19:

Do:

  • wash your hands with soap and water often – do this for at least 20 seconds
  • use hand sanitiser gel if soap and water are not available
  • wash your hands as soon as you get home
  • cover your mouth and nose with a tissue or your sleeve (not your hands) when you cough or sneeze
  • put used tissues in the bin immediately and wash your hands afterwards
